Plan a Mixed Gallery Wall Before Making the First Hole
Tips

Use a real Morrisville office gallery wall to plan mixed frame sizes, arrangement boundaries and a clear placement approval.
A mixed gallery wall is easier to approve as one composition than as a series of individual hanging decisions. Decide which pieces belong together, how much wall the collection should occupy, and who will approve the arrangement before installation begins.
At Garman Homes in Morrisville, Handydux laid out the gallery on the floor and obtained approval before hanging it. The photograph shows the resulting mixture of frame sizes above a rust-colored sofa. That floor arrangement gave everyone a shared reference; the finished wall still needed to relate to the sofa and surrounding room.
Start with the collection you actually intend to hang. Include frames and mats in the dimensions, and identify any piece that must remain central or paired with another. A phone photo of a floor layout helps preserve the agreed order. It does not establish the final wall height or prove that every frame has compatible hanging hardware.
Next, review the arrangement from the room entrance and the seating area. Ask whether the outer boundary feels balanced, whether a smaller piece disappears beside a larger one, and whether any nearby switch, opening or furnishing changes the available space. The goal is an intentional relationship between the pieces, not identical gaps at every edge.
For the installation request, send the full-wall view, individual frame dimensions and the approved arrangement together. Mark any decisions still open. Keeping one approved plan prevents a late-added frame from silently changing the entire composition.
